01
How do I choose the right waterproof connector for my cable?
+
Start with your
application, voltage, current, pin count,
cable outer diameter, installation method, and operating
environment. For outdoor, solar, marine, or industrial
applications, also confirm UV exposure, vibration, temperature,
moisture, and corrosion requirements. We can help match your
requirements to a suitable product series before you order. For
solar applications, see our
solar connector selection guide.
02
Can I order a waterproof connector sample before a bulk order?
+
Yes. PVLinkTech supports orders from 1 piece for
product evaluation, prototyping, replacement needs, and small
project requirements. This lets you check fit, installation, and
performance before moving to a larger order.
03
How long does waterproof connector production and shipping take?
+
For standard products that are in stock, bulk
orders can typically be prepared for shipment within
3–5 business days. Lead time for non-stock models,
custom cable assemblies, special packaging, new tooling, or large
volumes will be confirmed based on the final specification and
quantity. Shipment preparation time does not include transit time.
04
What technical documents can you provide?
+
Depending on the product model, we can provide available
datasheets, drawings, electrical ratings, cable-range
information, material details, and product specifications.
Please send the model number or your application requirements so we
can confirm the documents relevant to your project.
05
What certifications and test information are available?
+
Available compliance documents and test information
vary by model and intended application. Please tell
us the model, target market, and required standard so we can confirm
the applicable documents before you place an order. Do not assume a
document for one model applies to every product in a series.
06
Can PVLinkTech support OEM and custom cable assemblies?
+
Yes. Depending on project feasibility, customization may include
cable length, wire gauge, connector configuration, terminal
type, logo marking, shell color, labeling, packaging, and
pre-assembled cable harnesses. We will confirm feasibility,
MOQ, tooling requirements, and lead time before production.
07
How does PVLinkTech control quality and consistency?
+
We focus on specification confirmation, material selection, sealing
design, assembly control, and inspection procedures appropriate to
the product. For relevant models, available technical data and
supporting documents can be reviewed before ordering, helping reduce
the risk of mismatch between your application and the selected
connector.
08
What is the difference between IP66, IP67, and IP68?
+
The first digit 6 means dust-tight protection.
IP66 covers powerful water jets.
IP67 covers temporary immersion under defined test
conditions. IP68 covers immersion under
manufacturer-defined test conditions. Always confirm the exact model,
test condition, cable assembly method, and installation requirements
before selecting a connector for long-term wet or underwater use.
09
Can the connector be supplied with cable already assembled?
+
Yes. Some products are supplied as field-installable components, and
we can also provide pre-assembled cable assemblies based on your
required cable type, length, terminal, labeling, and packaging. This
can reduce installation work and help maintain consistent assembly
quality.
10
Can you ship to the United States and Europe?
+
PVLinkTech supports overseas customers and can provide shipment
options based on product weight, volume, destination, order value,
and required delivery time. Shipping cost, transit time, import
duties, and local compliance requirements should be confirmed before
order placement.
11
What happens if products arrive damaged or have a verified quality issue?
+
If cartons or products arrive damaged, please keep the packaging,
photos, product details, and order information. Our team will review
the case and provide a practical resolution according to the
confirmed order terms. For product suitability, please verify the
model and technical specification before installation or volume use.
12
What payment methods do you accept?
+
Available payment methods and terms are confirmed in the quotation.
International wire transfer is commonly used for production orders,
while other options may be available for eligible sample orders.
Terms can vary according to order value, customization level, and
cooperation history.
13
What is the MOQ for waterproof connectors, and can I mix models in one order?
+
MOQ depends on the connector model, stock availability,
customization, packaging, and production requirements.
Standard items may be available in small quantities, while custom
connectors, cable assemblies, logo marking, or special packaging may
require a higher MOQ. Send the models and quantities you need, and
we will confirm whether mixed-model ordering is available for your
project.
14
How do I select a waterproof connector by cable diameter, current, and voltage?
+
Select a waterproof cable connector only after confirming the
cable outer diameter, conductor size, rated current, rated
voltage, pin count, operating temperature, and required IP rating.
The cable gland and sealing range must match the actual cable, while
the contact and housing must suit the electrical load and installation
environment. For solar PV applications, you can also review our
MC4 and PV4 solar connectors.
