Necessary cookies

The consent cookie records your answer to the banner. Without it the banner would reappear on every page you open and we would have no way to know you had already declined. It stores one word, true or false, and nothing about who you are. Because the site cannot remember your choice without it, this cookie is written before you answer.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics 4 runs on our property G-1K7KF4ZLV9, and it writes the two _ga cookies. The plain _ga cookie holds the randomly generated client ID that separates a first-time visitor from a returning one. It is not your name, your email, or your IP address. The longer name ending in our property ID keeps session state, so one visit is counted once.

IP anonymization is switched on for this property, so the last octet of your IP address is dropped before Analytics stores it. We read the reports to see which product pages and which buying guides people actually work through, and to find pages that lose visitors halfway. Analytics data on this site is not used to build advertising audiences and is not joined to the quote forms.

Both cookies carry the pvlinktech.com domain. Google reads them as our processor, not for its own purposes.

Turning optional cookies off

The banner offers two choices on your first visit. Accept all lets the analytics cookies load. Decline optional blocks them. The site still works when you decline: product pages load, datasheets download, and the quote form still works. The only difference is that your visit is not counted.

That changes when we run paid campaigns. The cookies those campaigns need will be added to the table above, with their names and durations, before the campaigns go live. They will load only after you accept optional cookies, and they will sit in their own row so you can tell advertising apart from analytics.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Our banner does not read those signals. The choice you make in the banner is the one this site acts on. If you want optional cookies off, decline in the banner or block them in your browser settings. Either one works.

Your rights in the EEA and the UK

We do not sell personal information. Because this site sets no advertising cookies, we also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Exercising any of these rights will not change the price, the service, or the response time you get from us.

Changes to this policy

When we add a cookie or change a plugin that sets one, we change this page and the date at the bottom. The date is the last time this Cookie Policy changed, not the last time the page was viewed.
