A rooftop solar installation paired 30 kW of PV with a 40 kWh battery bank. Space was the primary challenge : the battery cabinets were installed in a compact equipment room, with the inverter DC link only a few meters away.
We used E50 connectors at pack level and E120 assemblies for the cabinet-to-inverter connection. Both were rated for 1500V DC and supplied with pre-terminated crimps. Temperature-rise testing under full charge and discharge conditions confirmed stable contact resistance, while the installer completed the wiring in one day.
