Which Series Should You Sample?
Where the joint lives decides more than the catalog does. A cable that terminates on a panel and gets pulled during service needs a screw terminal, because it holds torque and reopens in the field. Up a pole with no crimp tool, the spring clamp range saves the trip back down. Between battery modules, only two numbers matter: the current rating and the DC voltage. The CN series covers 70 A to 500 A on 1000 V and 1500 V DC systems.

Your Sample Comes Off the Same Tooling as Your Order
Waterproof connector samples tell you little if they come from a different production line than the parts you will buy. Ours are made using the same mold, seals and assembly process as production parts, with batch records to support traceability. What you approve should match what you receive.
Your sample can also support your own qualification process. Check dimensions, verify the specified tightening torque, and carry out the inspections required by your approval procedure. If you need a different cable size or pin count, raise it before approval. We can then quote the right model before production tooling or specifications need to be reconsidered.

How many free samples can I request?
One mating pair per model, or a single piece where the range is not paired, and up to two series per request. That gives you a fit check and a first inspection on both the male and the female side. If you are running a qualification batch that needs wider coverage, tell us the scope in the form and we will quote the extra pieces.
Who pays for shipping?
Nothing on a stock catalog model costs you anything. You pay the courier, and that amount comes off your first production order. A custom sample is quoted with the drawing and any tooling cost, before any work starts.
How long until my samples arrive?
Stock samples are confirmed and prepared in about 3 days from the point you confirm the part numbers and the delivery address. Express transit with DHL, FedEx or UPS normally runs 3 to 7 days after dispatch, depending on the destination and customs clearance.
Are custom or OEM samples free?
No, and we would rather say that plainly. A custom sample follows your drawing and may carry a tooling cost, and both are quoted before anything is cut. The free route is the standard catalog model, which is why we suggest starting there.
What is your MOQ for bulk orders?
Standard catalog models start from 1 piece, so an evaluation order, a service replacement and a prototype build all clear the minimum. Bulk, OEM and fully custom quantities are confirmed after we review the drawing and the annual volume you enter in the form.
Can I get datasheets before I request samples?
Most catalog series already have their ratings, drawings and approvals on file. Ask in the form and our engineers send the file for the model you are evaluating, along with anything else you need from our waterproof connector datasheets. Do you ship samples to my country?
